Tok Rahman

I used to call him Pak Rahman but then I call him Tok Rahman when my grandpa reminded me he’s as old as him. So, ‘Tok’ suits his age.

This morning, when khutbah was about to begin, he stood at the back and move a few steps forward. With a little too loud voice he asked a man in front row to switch on the light for minbar.

So the man did it. Tok Rahman gave a thumbs up signal and said “That’s it!”. Most of us looked at each other and I smiled when I heard among us someone commented, “Huish..Rahman speaking tu..!”.

Anyway, Salam Aidiladha to my lovely readers.

Consider me lucky enough

“It’s like an open book test. I read the questions and find the damn answers in the text given. Fill in the forms and mail them the next day”.

Shamel on his addiction to contests.

For that, I’d won movie tickets to watch Twilight last year and remember recently I mentioned about that childish ‘Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs’ 3D notebook?

And this evening.. ok first thing! Do not laugh. Here’s the picture.

They're story books!

I entered contests as much as possible regardless of what they offer for lucky winners. Well, those books actually not that bad. I’ve read few pages and their four main characters are interesting.

They’re suppose to have 4 volumes but the contest said winners will get the first two only. Dammit. Mane nak carik lg dua?!

..about three things

About 3 things I was absolutely positive

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him – and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be – that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally, irrevocably in love with him.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Well, it’s a month of New Moon after all. Coming soon to our cinemas. Heiy, it’s not just Bella who had her own ‘three things’. Me too. In fact, I have extra one and that will accounts for four things. Literally, I win! – Cut the crap Shamel!!

When I was back at home 2 days ago, I was bombarded with these following stuffs..

First..Last week mom told me a man from CityLink came at the gate with a parcel and it was for me. From Buena Vista. Thought it was movie tickets? Naah.. just a limited edition of ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meetballs’ 3D notebook. It’s on the cinema guys. Never mine, I just treat this as my class notebook next semester.

Second.. holiday’s story book. Haha. GG have read this and lamented how the book was so men’s type of book. Yeah, reading the first few pages explained that. But the writing’s great. :-D

Third.. Ah haa.. A greeting card from Padini Holdings. That means, 30% off when you show this card at the counter. Cool.

So..fourth one got no picture. But it’s a not-yet-opened Aidilfitri raya card anyway. From a pal. Haha. Puteih, I’ll text you a ‘thank you’ message soon okayh! Your card is..phewh, totally different. I like it.

I don’t know you. But I love my new layout. (speak firmly with high degree of confidence)

Inspired by boredom during rainy season..came this word ‘UNIQUE’ that forced myself into designing the PENCIL’s header. And..that needs a self-photography session and a pinch of narcissistic character.

Nur Kasih

Fine, I watched Nur Kasih twice – the first two episodes. I suggested mom and dad to watch them too like, “Pa..bu..tengok cte ni. Best2!” Then I don’t know whether they keep on following the series or not coz I never asked.

But me myself, never fancy the drama. Later I found out that people (women mostly) are going crazy over it when they created stuffs like “Who’s your character in Nur Kasih” on facebook and posted status like “..suka Adam sbb die bla3..!”.

Not sure for its storyline or those two male stars in it who play siblings. Sounds too Dean and Sam Winchester, brothers in ‘Supernatural’ which now enters its fifth season.  Haha. So Malaysia also got its own version I think. Congratulation!!

So uhh..while waiting for Bunkface performance on Muzik-Muzik Semi Final, I forced myself to watch Nur Kasih. Who knows I might somehow got attracted but unfortunately the story was blurrhhh..

So what sort of Malaysian drama that Shamel likes? Any extraordinaire series, especially insofar as it concerned Red Films and Primework Studios production. Those of Ghost, Blogger Boy, Kami and Gol & Gincu for the very least of examples.

The latest, aku mahu promote, besides 2012.. Pisau Cukur also from the same production as above, starring Fazura and Maya Karin. This film’s totally different than Yusuf Haslam’s and his son’s of course! No offence.
